Visiting the School
Below outlines our usual steps regarding visiting the school. However, due to the current situation visits cannot be conducted as normal. Please contact the Registrar, Tracy Doyle, to discuss further.
This website contains a lot of information about the School and, if you would like to find out more, the next step is to come and see us in action.
Visiting a school can be quite daunting - this may be your first time inside a school since you were a child yourself. Rest assured, we are friendly and welcoming, and we will be happy to show you anything you would like to see. The essence of Aberdour is that it is all about the individual, so we will be very happy to discuss your child and how they could fit in here.
There are two options for an initial visit.
We hold regular Open Mornings (currently on hold due to Government guidance), which provide a very friendly and informal way of looking round.
If the dates do not work for you or you would like to talk things through in greater detail, we can arrange a personal visit on a date and time that suit you. (Due to new lockdown measures coming into force on Thursday 5 November, we will not be holding tours until January 2021)
Either way, you will have a tour of the School and a chance to meet the Headmaster, staff and the pupils.
For Open Mornings you can just turn up on the day, though we do ask parents to let us know in advance if possible so that we can plan for the right number of visitors. For personal tours, Tracy Doyle can make all the arrangements and will meet you when you arrive.
To find out more or arrange a visit, please contact Tracy on 01737 354 119 or email her at email@example.com.
