Meet the Team

The Nursery Team

Louise Richards - Nursery Leader and Room Leader, Jasmine
Louise Richards My name is Louise Richards and I started at Aberdour in 2016 as an Early Years practitioner, in 2019 I became the Nursery Leader. I have 18 years Early Years Educational experience as well as being a mum to two boys. During these years I have extended my qualifications, achieving my Early Years Teaching Degree and EYP status. I have developed a wide range of experiences within a variety of settings and roles, working closely to support vulnerable families, as well as with children ages 0-5years.

We are extremely lucky at Aberdour to have a wonderful working environment where we can enjoy and explore the natural world with the children. I am passionate about leading and supporting the Nursery team in providing a relevant, balanced and exciting curriculum, based around the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. I enjoy creating a personalised experience for the children; meeting their individual needs through providing a fun and nurturing environment that stimulates growing minds.

Emma Stockwell - Room Leader, Blossom
Emma Stockwell I am the Room Leader of the Blossom class. I have worked in Early Years since 2009 and have experience with all ages from Birth to five. I completed my BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Education in 2018, following which, I joined Aberdour Nursery.

The amazing grounds and opportunities the children are exposed to is what initially attracted me to the role, from weekly Woodland Wonder sessions in our very own woodland to watching ducklings hatch in the Springtime. I enjoy creative activities with the children and take delight in watching their imaginations unravel as they explore and investigate.

Nina Dickinson - Room Leader, Bluebell

Working in Early Years is a passion of mine, I love watching the children grow, and enjoy being a part of their development. I am a trained performing arts specialist and enjoying singing and developing the children’s love for Music and Dance through creative play.

Selena Frost - Room Leader, Juniper
Selena Frost My name is Selena Frost and I am a mother to two girls aged 3 and 9. I joined Aberdour in 2015 and I am the Room Leader for Juniper, on of our Pre-School classrooms for rising four year olds. I have been qualified for over 18 years with an NVQ Level 3 and have recently completed my BA (Hons) Early Years/Maths Degree.

I love to inspire creative little minds through an environment that is full of curiosity and enjoy observing and extending the children’s innate curiosity. It is so rewarding to watch how children grow and develop through their play and I really enjoy providing a stimulating, happy and thriving environment for them to flourish.
