Science at Aberdour is all about exploring the world around us through fun and hands-on learning.  We are privileged to have a well equipped science laboratory including fully stocked individual lockers for students to make use of during practical work. Children ask questions, carry out relevant experiments and discover amazing facts about space, materials, nature, the human body and much more. From how plants grow and how magnets work to electrical circuits and chemical reactions, our science lessons help our pupils become curious thinkers and confident practical workers. We encourage a love of discovery and enthusiasm to try new skills in the laboratory setting. Each child has the opportunity of feeling like a ‘real scientist’ who can also learn to write relevant laboratory reports.
