Record-breaking 61 Scholarships
We are excited to announce our most successful year since the School was founded in 1928.
In Year 6, 48 of our pupils will be moving to independent senior schools. Within this group, over 125 offers were received from over 20 different independent schools and, of these, 61 Scholarships were awarded for such disciplines as Academics (which accounted for half the awards), Music, Drama, Sports, Design Technology, Innovation, Art, and All-Round ability. This is a truly outstanding number of Scholarships!
As an example of this success (and to select just one local senior school), 20 pupils successfully secured entry to Reigate Grammar School, with an amazing 18 Scholarships having been awarded between them. This is an unparalleled level of success.
We also wish to congratulate those children who gained Grammar School entry. Such places are always at a high premium and we are rightly proud of their achievements.
