Ex Aberdorian David Boote Signs For Stanford University

David Boote, a past pupil at Aberdour, is the first European student to be offered a golf scholarship to Stanford University in over 10 years and will join a list of some of the most highly ranked amateur players in the world. The Stamford Golf program has furthered the careers of many notable players including Tom Watson and Tiger Woods. As well as studying for 4 A levels, David has been playing top level golf around the world and has been selected for the Wales Mens National squad in 2012.
