FINDING THE BRILLIANCE WITHIN

Aberdour School

Last week, everyone in the Pre-Prep Department enjoyed taking part in a variety of maths activities following our "Bubblz" workshops.

Year 2 found plenty of maths on their visit to St. Paul's and their cooking sessions were real problem solving activities!

Year 1 made their own metre sticks to measure the playground. They also had fun making 3-D shapes and cooking pancakes.

Transition made shapes from natural material on their Maths Trail in the school grounds.

The Nursery seemed to be busy measuring, weighing and counting all week. They certainly enjoyed their cooking sessions!

Finally, we had an Assembly to talk about our busy week. We also found out that the overall winner of the "Guess how many cubes in a jar?" competition was Harry McGuire from the Nursery class.

Thank you to all the children and staff who took part in Maths Week with such enthusiasm.
