My Trip To St. Paul's by Imaan Haider Year 2
I went to St. Paul's Cathedral with Year 2. When we went inside, we learnt a bit about the Great Fire of London. Next we went to look at some ancient statues which were in the old Cathedral.
Later we went upstairs and we looked at all the different carvings on the walls. We went into a different room where we got to lie down and look at all the golden pictures on the ceiling.
After that we climbed a lot of stairs and I mean a lot of stairs! It was like there were a billion and the stairs were so narrow it was hard to put even your toe on it!
We entered a place where you could whisper into the wall and you could hear something behind it if you listened carefully. Apparently I couldn't hear anything because there was too much noise!
Another spectacular part was that we climbed some even more narrow stairs and went even higher up. Then we got to the top of the Cathedral and we saw all the sights outside.
And that was my trip to St. Paul's Cathedral.
