'A French Play'

Shipwrecked En France

At the end of January, Years 5 to 8 were treated to a play perfomed entirely in French. As well as watching and learning, some of the audience were invited to participate in the drama.

The story told of an English boy called Tyler, on holiday in France, who drifted out to sea in a dinghy and his subsequent adventures once he was shipwrecked further along the coast.

"The play was really funny and showed us all just how much French we really know. Some of us were chosen to go up on stage to help Tyler because he knew so little French.We had to go surfing and then hide Tyler from the police. We think everyone in the audience enjoyed themselves as much as we did"
