The Aberdour Challenge
The Aberdour Challenge encourages pupils from Years 6 to 8 to extend their horizons by facing new and exciting personal challenges.
It will help them to enjoy a healthy lifestyle, to think about the world in which we live and to take an active responsibility for personal development.
To achieve a Gold Award in Year 8, a pupil will need to complete all eight Challenges.
To achieve a Silver Award in Year 7, a pupil will need to complete six Challenges plus an Outdoor Active Challenge.
To achieve a Bronze Award in Year 6, a pupil will need to complete three challenges and the Outdoor Active Challenge.
To complete a Challenge, pupils will be required to provide supporting evidence. All pupils are expected to undertake their Bronze Award.
Each pupil’s card will be signed by the Challenge Co-ordinator as they complete each challenge.
The Challenge Co-ordinator will keep a record of the Challenges completed.
